From 3 Visitors a Day to 980: Part 1

Internet Marketing begins and ends with traffic.  Without traffic, you've got nothing.  You have two choices...you can pay for it, or you can generate it.

I hate paying for traffic.  That's why I'm such an SEO freak.  There are plenty of ways to dominate the search engines and get traffic for free.

So I have a phpBay site (almost 10 of them actually) that's been doing fairly well for me over the last 10 months or so.  Recently, however, the traffic has slowed to a trickle.  The latest Google PR update didn't help either.

PhpBay, in case you don't know, is a plug-in for Wordpress that allows you to create powerful, niche-driven Ebay auction sites.  It's incredibly user-friendly and easy to setup.  These sites look fantastic and, if you pick the right niche, you could find yourself making some serious money.

As you can see, my traffic went from roughly 3 - 5 visitors per day, to over 950.
