Mark this day on your calendar. Someone in the mainstream media actually defended Ron Paul yesterday.
As they were reviewing the results of a Twitter survey on the popularity of the GOP candidates following the South Carolina debate on Fox News, one reporter stated that “Ron Paul always does well on these surveys,” downplaying the fact that he seemed to “win” the poll.
The other reporter, though, stopped him in his tracks, adding that Ron Paul, “didn’t just ‘do well,’ he won!”
The first reporter then almost mocks her from that point onward. In looking at another survey, he says that, again, Ron Paul has a “big blue bar” here, but stops short of saying that he won (again).
