Maybe one of the numerous folks that were laid off today can check one of these companies out.
Fortune Magazine has released its annual “Fortune 100″ list of the best companies to work for in 2009. Most of the companies currently have job openings and are hiring, too.
Guess what? Google no longer holds the top spot. Taking that honor is data storage and management company NetApp. Google dropped to number four.
Debuting on the list for the first time is online retailer Zappos, a company that has made many headlines for its advanced tech-friendly marketing tactics.
Other tech companies making the Fortune 100 include Adobe (#11), Qualcomm (#16), Microsoft (#38), and eBay (#83) - maybe that whole eBay Spiral of Death thing won't be a factor.
