Indiana broadcaster Todd Leary has been busted as part of an elaborate multimillion-dollar real estate fraud scheme.
Police documents show that Leary, 39, is currently being held in the Monroe County Jail in Bloomington.
The former Hoosier now faces up to 17 felony charges, including conspiracy to misappropriate title insurance escrow funds. Court documents indicate that Leary once worked for a title insurance broker who has pleaded guilty to several counts as part of a $2.7 million fraud scheme.
Leary played for the Indiana Hoosiers from 1989 to 1994, including their 1992 NCAA Final Four team. He’s currently the color commentator for IU’s radio broadcasts.
