Hopefully, you’ve already downloaded the Terminator Salvation desktop app as it’s pretty fascinating. Now comes a new Terminator Salvation game called Resistance 2018 that lets Twitter users join different resistance squadrons to battle the Terminators.
To play, just follow @Resistance2018 on Twitter and then go to Resistance2018.com and log in with your Twitter credentials. You must then follow the orders that are tweeted to you in return for points. As you accumulate points, you will be able to join more and more squadrons.
There are various assignments and messages that apparently will be tweeted out by Resistance2018 with coding as follows: RA (Resistance Assignments), WM (Word Mix), TR (Trivia), PT (Partial Transmission), SW (SkyNet Warnings), and so on. In essence, it’s a mass multiplayer online viral game coordinated entirely via twitter.
This ought to be a true first. It will be exciting to see how it develops.
