Police say a man in Florida called 911 claiming to have been shot and beaten in the hopes that his story would get him a ride to a bar.
Now, Gregory Oras, 37, has been charged with misuse of the 911 system and battery of a law enforcement officer.

The police reports shows that Oras called 911 three times prior to his arrest early on Tuesday morning. He told the 911 operator that he had broken his nose and that his ears were bleeding. He also claimed that there were people shooting at him.
He was really just trying to get a ride to another bar.
Oras also kicked a sheriff’s deputy in the knee and a Taser has to be used to subdue him.
He’s now being held at the Pinellas County Jail.
