Remember “Heart Stop Beating,” the amazing story of Craig Lewis, the man who is alive despite the fact that he no longer has a pulse?
There is now an extended version of the film.
The new film, “Flatline,” is seven minutes long and shows Billy Cohn building the heart pump in his garage.
It also includes an all-new ending that finally answers some of the lingering questions from the original short.
The film tells the story of two visionary doctors from the Texas Heart Institute who successfully replaced a dying man’s heart with a rotor-driven device of their own design, proving that life really is possible without a pulse or a heartbeat.
