Should we be concerned that the FBI didn't see this coming? Earlier today the FBI launched a massive hiring campaign, their largest since 9/11/2001.
The FBI is literally hanging a big "Wanted" sign on their front door. While countless companies across the country are facing layoffs, the FBI has posted openings for 850 special agents and more than 2,000 support personnel.
A spokesman said they are looking for professionals in a wide variety of fields with a desire to protect the nation.
Here is the problem. Upon visiting the fbijobs.gov website this morning, I was greeted with this message...
Notice to applicants, based on the overwhelming response to our FBI Agent position the server is currently unavailable and will be repaired shortly. Please try your request again later.
Oops. Looks like someone didn't see this coming.
