It was just three short months ago that Facebook hit the 200-million-users mark. On Wednesday, Facebook CEO Mark Zuckerberg announced that the popular social networking site has hit 250 million active users. Remember, too, that back in January it was at only 150 million users.
To make things sound even more impressive, these new figures could be an understatement. comScore reports that Facebook had 316 million unique visitors from around the globe back in May…however, not all of these users necessarily had Facebook accounts.
Regardless, adding 50 million users in only 90 days is stunning. There is little doubt that Facebook will soon be able to take over the entire…tri-state area.
