The word on the street is that Facebook is looking to reboot their classified ad service and make it more competitive with the likes of Craigslist and Kijiji. This is going to be no easy feat.
The early prediction is that the winner will be Oodle, which runs Walmart's Classified ads.
Whoever powers Facebook Marketplace has a big hill to climb. FB’s current system is looking pretty weak. San Francisco only had twenty listings added yesterday, while New York City had...zero.
It will be fun to see if they can turn this thing around and compete with the big boys. The new version if Facebook Marketplace could debut as early as December.
Now, if you really want to know how to say goodbye to 9 to 5 and learn how to start a business by taking out small classified ads in publications across the country, I highly recommend The Rich Ad Freak.
Here is your chance to take over a $1,000,000 a year advertising campaign. This is one of the best e-books I've ever read. Get The Rich Ad Freak today, and see how he turned $7 into $1,000,000.
