MySpace might have Microsft, but Facebook scores Flash for the knockout blow!
Facebook and Flash have now officially joined forces to make developing Flash applications much easier with the ActionScript 3.0 Client Library for Facebook Platform.
This will basically enable anyone to create their own modified version of the insanely viral Inauguration Day mashup.
It will also allow game developers to build far more intricate apps. As for Facebook Connect, it will give users a web-based photo editor that would feature an option for uploading directly to Facebook.
Bottom line, MySpace's new features are pretty nifty, but with Facebook quickly gaining ground on MySpace, Facebook wins this round - hands down.
