Back in January of 2007, cheerleaders from McKinney North High School in Texas got themselves in a heap of trouble. Tonight, their story hit the airwaves as the Fab Five Texas Cheerleader Scandal ran on Lifetime.
Back in 2007, the scandalous photos were posted on MySpace. One portrayed girl wearing a bikini sharing a bottle of booze with one of her friends. Another one showed a cheerleader and several other girls in some questionable poses.
The most controversial photo depicted five cheerleaders posing with large candles shaped like p—ses. One of the cheerleaders was pretending to perform on one of the candles.
The story made it to television thanks to their coach, who sold the story to Lifetime television. I know, a coach sexually exploiting a student. Who has ever heard of such a thing?
