Yet another engagement has the world buzzing this afternoon as Chad Ochocinco is now officially engaged to Evelyn Lozada.
The Cincinnati Bengals star and Dancing with the Stars competitor reportedly proposed to the Basketball Wives star on Tuesday.
Sources close to the couple say that Ochocinco popped the question in Cincinnati with a 10-carat engagement ring. The happy pair have been dating for four months.
Lozada posted a picture of her engagement ring (see picture at right) on her Twitter account, writing, “I’m no rabbit but 10 carats looks good on me!!”
Lozada was formerly engaged to the NBA’s Antoine Walker, who himself has accumulated over $4 million in debt despite making $110 million throughout the course of his NBA career.
She was in the spotlight this past April when naked pictures of her accidentally leaked online.
When word of Lozada’s relationship with Ochocinco leaked back in August, VH1 wasn’t very happy about it, as Ochocinco was starring in his own dating show on that network called The Ultimate Catch. The fact that he was already involved with Lozada sort of killed the suspense for viewers.
No wedding date has been set, but rumor has it the pair hope to stay engaged for a while.
