Esquire Names Kate Beckinsale Sexiest Woman Alive (PHOTOS)

Esquire magazine has named Kate Beckinsale as the Sexiest Woman Alive.

Beckinsale seems to be taking it all in stride, although she does seem concerned with how her family will treat her, now that she has earned the title.

She tells Esquire, “This whole notion of being named Sexiest Woman Alive is going to earn me quite a beating!

“You can’t have that title with four brothers. I’ll get wedgies. Headlocks. Noogies.  I’m feeling that I must earn this, I need to go out and become much better at pole dancing or something.”

Kate Beckinsale takes the title held last year by Halle Berry.  She offers up quite a steamy photo shoot for the November issue, wearing some killer heals, among other things.

Beckinsale, 36, is married to director Len Wiseman.  In the past, she has confessed that she isn’t the perfect wife but more than makes up for it by being a terrific fantastic lover.

She said, “I’m the worst wife in the cooking department. I always thought you can’t be good at food and sex, but you can always order the food in. I’d rather my husband didn’t order in the sex!”
