Last September, Craig Lynch escaped from prison and he’s been running ever since. Still, he somehow finds time to log in to his Facebook account and taunt law enforcement officers.
Lynch had been serving a 7-year sentence at the Hollesley Bay Prison in England for aggravated burglary. Since then, he’s been updating his Facebook account, leaving clues as to where he’s been and what he’s been doing.
He’s written about eating 12-pound steaks, going around to friends’ homes and attending parties, and has even bragged that he will be at a New Year’s party.
He currently has about 200 friends on the popular social networking site, and Suffolk police have reached out to many of them in an effort to find the slippery criminal.
Though he may sound like a lighthearted prankster, beware. His profile’s “About me” section simply states:
“You’ll have a laugh with me but it will end in tears. It always does.”
Sooner or later he will screw up and get caught. They always do.
