The 61st annual Primetime Emmy Awards show took place on Sunday, Sept 20, 2009, at the Nokia Theater in Los Angeles, California.

It was a sight to behold with Neil Patrick Harris as your host, and more celebrities than you could shake a stick at.

Among the no-brainers, AMC’s Mad Men won the award for Outstanding Drama Series for the second consecutive year, while 30 Rock won the award for Outstanding Comedy Series for the third straight year.

One appearance that really excited us: Michael Emerson winning the prize for Outstanding Supporting Actor in a Drama Series (LOST). Is it time for that final season yet??
