A bunch of hair said to be clipped from Elvis Presley's head when he enlisted in the Army back in 1958 fetched $15,000 at an auction in Chicago on Sunday.
In addition to the hair, a shirt that once belonged to the Elvis sold for $52,000.
Among the other items auctioned off by Leslie Hindman Auctioneers were pictures from the reception of the King's wedding to Priscilla back in 1967, some Christmas cards he had once, Elvis dolls and even Elvis Pez dispensers.
The late Gary Pepper, who headed an Elvis and club and was a friend, once owned all of the items that were auctioned off. Pepper died in 1980.
