Elizabeth Hughes‘ singing debut came when she sang national anthem on January 7, 2011 at the Norfolk Admirals game.
Unfortunately, the microphone died near the end of the song. Luckily, the crowd bailed her out. Little Elizabeth kept her composure and kept right on singing. Hooray for humanity!
The good news…she was invited to come sing again, so hopefully, we’ll get to hear the whole song soon.
Note to sound man: Always put fresh batteries in the mic!
