Elin Nordegren plans to stay with Tiger Woods despite the recent train wreck surrounding his extramarital affairs. She wants to stay with him for the sake of their children, according to a friend.
Nordegren, a former Swedish model, is devastated by Tiger’s recent alleged adultery scandal but wants the marriage to endure. The couple have two children together, a daughter Sam, 2, and son Charlie, 10 months.

“She is a child of divorce and that’s not something she’s likely going to want to do to Sam and Charlie,” a friend tells People magazine. “She really believes in the importance of parents staying together.”
Elin Nordegren was reportedly aware of the golf superstar’s reputation before they got married but says he promised that he would change.
“Elin had talked to other golfers and their wives about Tiger’s wild parties. When she asked Tiger about it he said he would stop doing it,” said the friend.
They are both undergoing intensive marriage counseling in the wake of the dozen or so mistresses who have come forward alleging an affair with Tiger Woods.
They also recently renegotiated their prenuptual agreement, increasing the amount of cash Nordegren would get in any future divorce.
