A New York man whose driver’s license expired 33 years ago has been hit with a DWI charge after police say he drove his van more than 11 miles with its right rear tire missing.
Apparently, a motorist reported seeing a tire come off of a vehicle weaving in and out of lanes late on Monday night.
Police arrested Duane Bush, 61, at his residence in Bethany.
Bush faces charges of aggravated DWI and unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle. At the time of his arrest, his blood-alcohol level was more than three times the legal limit of .08 percent.
