UPDATE 2: Donna Simpson gives up quest, trying to get healthy
An overweight mom from New Jersey wants to put on more weight so she can become the world’s fattest woman. How ambitious can you get, right?
Donna Simpson now weighs 602 lbs. but wants to reach her “goal weight” of 1,000 lbs. in two years.
Simpson, 42, already holds the prestigious moniker of “world’s fattest mother” after giving birth to her daughter in 2007 when she weighed 531 lbs.
“I’d love to be 1,000 pounds … it might be hard though, running after my daughter keeps my weight down,” Simpson said recently.
She uses a mobility scooter to get around, eats loads of junk food, and tries to move as little as possible so as not to accidentally burn off any calories.
Her loving partner, Philippe Gouamba, 49 (whom she met on a dating site for big people) is encouraging her to reach her goal.
“I think he’d like it if I was bigger … he’s a real belly man and completely supports me,” she said.
I’d love to see him try and support her without getting a double-hernia, actually.
To reach her goal of 1,000 lbs., Simpson will have to eat 12,000 calories per day, six times the recommended daily intake for women.
Her weekly grocery bill? $815.
To help foot the bill, she runs a website where men pay to watch her eat fast food. Seriously.
