Donald Woods, a high school algebra teacher in Tennessee, had a massive meltdown in front of his students, and the whole thing was caught on tape.
The footage, which was uploaded to YouTube, shows Woods tossing furniture and yelling at the students, several of whom flee from the classroom after the teacher also admitted to starting a fire in the school bathroom.
Woods eventually had to be handcuffed and taken away on a stretcher. Officials said he suffered from an apparent nervous breakdown.
Woods has been a teacher in Nashville for 17 years. He has now been placed on administrative leave.
