OK, it’s Saturday. That means that my Dominate IM, offline to online marketing experiment is set to kick off at a big, local event at 2pm today.
I have to admit, I’m fairly excited about this, especially since my final expenses wound up being ridiculously low, which will hopefully mean a high ROI (return on investment). As a fellow internet marketer told me recently, affiliate marketing is all about ROI, otherwise it’s just a hobby.
I’ve never really done much offline marketing before, so I’m not sure when to start expecting some results. My guess would be that things could start happening as soon as the event ends and people get back to their homes. Realistically, results could keep trickling in for weeks, or even months, as people empty their pockets and find my promotional material that they forgot about. This campaign is really laser-targeted in an unbelievable way so my expectations are high.
Do you want to know what my final expenses were? Want some details? OK, I’ll tell you more on Monday. For now, I’m going to track the results and hope for the best.
