The social instant messaging client Digsby seems to be all things to all people. You can use it to connect to AIM, you can use it to connect to Gtalk, you can even use it to log onto Gmail, Facebook and Twitter with Digsby...it even supports Facebook Chat.
In addition, the company recently fixed its let's-suck-up-RAM-like-it's-going-out-of-style problem and it finally seems as though Digsby is going viral.
On Thursday, the IM client announced that it reached one million users. Remember, Digsby just launched 18 months ago so that means it's growing at a pace of more than 50,000 users each month.
Even more impressive is the fact that, while Digsby has over a million users, there are now more than 3 million IM, email, and social media accounts on the system.
