It's being reported that Apple CEO Steve Jobs had a liver transplant in Tennessee about two months ago. The report would seem to indicate that Jobs is recovering and should be able to return to work this month.
There had been reports circulating that Jobs was considering a liver transplant following treatment for an islet cell neuroendocrine tumor in 2004. Apple naturally has nothing to say regarding the report.
Jobs’ health has been the subject of intense speculation ever since he first appeared pale at Macworld in 2008. A later appearance at the WWDC event lead to further speculation, although Jobs denied health issues at the time.
