According to unconfirmed reports, Jackson’s people told early responders on the scene that he had collapsed after a Demerol injection.
“Shortly after taking the Demerol he started to experience slow shallow breathing” an unnamed aide told the media. “His breathing gradually got slower and slower until it stopped.”
Michael Jackson never regained consciousness. More should be known regarding the official cause of death early next week.
