As the Cincinnati Bengals and the NFL come to terms with the loss of Chris Henry earlier this week, new questions have emerged regarding the circumstances surrounding his death.

Lee Hardy, neighbor to Henry’s fiance Loleini Tonga, now tells the Cincinnati Enquirer that he was an eyewitness to heated argument between Tonga and Henry as they blew by him in a pickup truck.

Hardy says he was minding his own business and trimming some of his trees as infamous yellow pickup truck sped past him.  Chris Henry was in the back and Tonga was driving.

“He was banging on the top, on the doors, screaming at the lady, ‘We need to talk,’” Hardy says.

“He said, ‘If you take off, I’m going to jump off the truck and kill myself,’ ” he added.

Interesting.  So did Chris Henry live up to his promise when Tonga wouldn’t stop the vehicle?

Homicide detectives are investigating the details but haven’t charged Tonga with anything, in fact, she hasn’t even been taken in for questioning.

What a horrible way for an NFL career (not to mention a life) to end.
