While some flash mobs can be light-hearted in nature, the one that recently overtook a WalMart in Jacksonville, Florida most certainly was not.
A flash mob of teenagers recently stormed a Northwest Jacksonville WalMart, damaging merchandise, as well as the store’s security system.
The crowd also threw food from the store’s grocery section.
The trouble apparently began after police broke up a teen party in a North Jacksonville subdivision after someone there was shot in the leg. According to police documents, scores of teen party-goers then fled the scene when they saw lights and heard sirens heading their way.
About 90 minutes later, the teen flash mob below appeared at the Jacksonville WalMart.
Police say over 300 people stormed the store.
No arrests have been made yet.
