Actor Dennis Hopper has been released from the hospital.
Hopper was carted to a hospital in New York on Wednesday after suffering stomach extreme stomach pains. He was treated for dehydration and then released.
His manager, Sam Maydew, says, “Dennis is now back in his hotel room and feeling much better. Dennis would like to thank everyone for their will wishes and he looks forward to getting back to work.”
It was initially originally thought that Hopper, 73, had flu-like symptoms, but the details of his illness had not been released.
The acting legend was in town to hype his series ‘Crash’, which is based upon the 2004 Oscar-winning movie of the same name. Hopper plays music producer Ben Cendars.
The recent illness forced him to cancel a number of television bookings and promotional interviews.
