Gamers: prepare to drool.
At a press conference held at CES 2010 this afternoon, Dell unveiled its new Alienware M11x laptop. It features an 11.6-inch screen and will cost less than $1,000. It falls into a a new category of gaming laptop in a thin form combined with an affordable price.
The Alienware M11x ships with a GT335m graphics processor from Nvidia.
When not in gaming mode, you can expect to get about 6.5 hours of use. When you’re ready to do some hardcore gaming, just press one button to switch to the Nvidia GPU, which can provide up to 2 hours of continuous gaming use.
The Alienware M11x will ship this spring.
