Has Amazon’s time finally come?  Perhaps.

The iTunes library now seems to be priced higher and it’s hard to know what their rhyme or reason for it is.  Many songs in the top 10 at iTunes are selling for $1.29 while those same songs are selling on Amazon MP3 for just$0.99.

Nine of the songs in Amazon’s top 100 do eventually hit the higher $1.29 mark further down the list.

Let’s review that Apple press release from January…

In April, based on what the music labels charge Apple, songs on iTunes will be available at one of three price points-69 cents, 99 cents and $1.29-with many more songs priced at 69 cents than $1.29.

Maybe it’s just me, but I haven’t been able to that many songs selling for $0.69.  I tihnk it’s time to make the switch…
