daytime emmy awards 2009 winnersThe 36th annual Daytime Emmy Awards were held Sunday evening at the Orpheum Theatre in L.A.

The Lifetime Achievement Award was presented to your childhood favorite, Sesame Street, for 40 spectacular years of educating children and young people around the globe. The Bold and the Beautiful won its first Outstanding Drama Series award.

There were several other first-time winners as well at the Daytime Emmy Awards, including Susan Haskell (One Life to Live; Best Actress), Tamara Braun (Days of Our Lives; Best Supporting Actress), and Days of Our Lives co-star Darin Brooks (Best Younger Actor).
