Fans of Dave Chappelle in Oregon got a treat last night (actually early this morning).  The mysterious comedian made an impromptu appearance at Portland's Pioneer Square for a free appearance.

Thousands of fans gathered there once rumors of a midnight performance spread via Facebook and Twitter. Chappelle arrived at around 12:53am EDT.

Unfortunately, very few people actually heard anything because only brought a very small amplifier with him.  Chappelle repeatedly applauded the crowd for coming out, made a few jokes about the chaotic scene around him, including people who were actually up on rooftops at the square.

The only video available this morning is of poor quality, but we managed to find some.  If you have anything of better quality, please send it to us.
