Ever since director Steven Spielberg picked actor Daniel Day-Lewis to portray Abraham Lincoln in his upcoming film about the former president, movie fans and historians alike have been curious to see just what the actor would look like as “Honest Abe”.
Judging by the photo below, he’s going to look a LOT like him.
This photo hit Twitter today and shows Day-Lewis donning his Lincoln goatee and matching hair style, and it’s incredible just how much he looks like Lincoln.
Just wait until he puts on the hat!
The new movie will also star Sally Field as Mary Todd Lincoln, Joseph Gordon-Levitt as Robert Todd Lincoln, Tommy Lee Jones as Thaddeus Stevens, and John Hawkes as Robert Latham, among others.
