Curt Schilling has announced that he may opt to try and fill the Senate seat in Massachusetts that was vacated when Ted Kennedy passed away.
The former Red Sox pitcher may actually make a run for the U.S. Senate.
“I’ve got a lot on my plate,” Schilling said in an interview. “Right now, I’m not even going to speculate on it.”
Schilling says he needs to reach a decision on the matter fairly quickly.
“I think for the first time in a long time, it will take the right candidate,” Schilling said on the matter of a Republican defeating a Democrat for the vacant seat.
As for a possible Senate run?
“I have been contacted.”
