It was a power-packed year for us here at Monty's Mega Marketing. We first burst onto the scene back in July of 2008 and it's been going full-throttle ever since. We appreciate all your loyal readership...heck, we even broke 70,000 on Alexa in less than six months!

We started with a bang, coming from humble beginnings with the Day Job Countdown, a site that is still ranked in the top 5,000,000 on Alexa for some crazy reason.  We then kicked off with our hugh list of top money-making ideas on our very first post.

The Digital Point cookie-stuffing saga involving Shawn Hogan, which followed in August, to this date remains one of our most popular stories.  This one even got to the front page of Sphinn.

Stories about the success of others also drew a lot of attention, including this post about a woman who sold her blog for $95,000 in a time of crisis.  We all need some inspiration now and then.

Right around Halloween our free Monty's Trick or Treat series showed you how you could get more traffic to your site by making it into an iPhone app and we ALSO looked at how you could sell your OWN information products on the Amazon Kindle.

Speaking of the Kindle, our posts about this hot digital product lit up the boards.  From Oprah's $50 discount to even more coupon codes than you could count, the Kindle was hot this year.

As for good old Internet Marketing programs, it was hard to beat Dominate IM in 2008.  This continues to be an awesome coaching club and one that I benefit from on a daily basis.

For sheer tech buzz, the top headline-grabbers were the iPhone (now unlocked), apps like iFart (bodily functions making $10,000 per day?? seriously??), and more recently, that nasty Internet Explorer bug and the Zune Apocalypse.

Of course, there was no shortage of Google news either.  In fact, now that you've seen OUR best of 2008, why not head over and check out Google's best of 2008 as well.

Happy New Year!
