Conan O’Brien made a classy exit from NBC and The Tonight Show on Friday night.
Not only did he rock out the closing moments of his final Tonight Show appearance with the likes of Will Ferrell and ZZ Top, but he also gave an impassioned farewell speech, in which Conan thanked NBC, his crew, and most of all his fans. Many of them stood out in the pouring rain to show their support for O’Brien, and he said it was something he will never forget.

Like it or not, he did it his way.
We likely won’t see Conan again until the fall, likely on Fox. Until then, farewell Conan.
