Colt McCoy popped the question in true Texas fashion.
The former quarterback for Longhorns football brought girlfriend Rachel Glandorf to Darrell K. Royal-Texas Memorial Stadium on Monday evening. Once they got to the field, he had “Will You Marry Me?” plastered onto stadium’s giant hihg-def scoreboard.
When Glandorf turned around, McCoy was already down on one knee, ready to propose.
McCoy injured his right throwing arm in the Texas Longhorns’ 37-21 defeat at the hands of Alabama in the national championship game last week.
The NCAA career leader in victories, with 45 wins, is expected to be snatched up in April’s NFL draft.
By the way, she said “yes.”
