CollegeHumor.com has come up a practical joke that is an instant classic – and they did right here in our home state of Maryland.
As you may or may not know, Streeter from CollegeHumor was the victim of a practical joke at Yankee Stadium a couple of years ago. His buddy Amir had the folks at the stadium put up a marriage proposal from Streeter to his then-girlfriend. Streeter didn’t WANT to marry his girlfriend which, as you might guess, was the end of that relationship.
Streeter decided to get his payback at a University of Maryland basketball game.
Streeter arranged to have Amir chosen for the halftime half-court shot for $500,000 – blindfolded.
Amir didn’t know, however, that Streeter had set it up so that the crowd would cheer like crazy, ever when he missed the shot. Amir thought he had won half a million dollars in front of 18,000 people.
