Christina Hendricks has done a pretty good job of getting the rumor mill spinning. The voluptuous Mad Men acrtress appeared on the Rachael Ray Show earlier this month and dropped a bomb.
Hendricks mentioned playing Wonder Woman in the much-hyped new television adaptation of the feminine super heroine.
“I heard that rumor too – I don’t know where it got started but I love it!” she quipped. “I’ve been wanting to wear that outfit my whole life! I’d love to [do it]. That would be such fun. Let’s put it out there!”
The series is being pitched by Boston Legal creator David E. Kelley, who also created the hit show Ally McBeal. Wonder Woman hasn’t appeared on live-action television since Linda Carter played the role back in the ’70s.
