Chris Henry Car Accident Leaves Player on Life Support

Chris Henry, a wide receiver for the Cincinnati Bengals, is on life support after falling from back of a pickup truck during a domestic dispute in North Carolina. Officials are saying that the situation is “dire.”

Henry was found lying in the middle of the road “apparently suffering life-threatening injuries,” according to police. Henry was immediately taken to a local trauma unit, but he is not yet listed in hospital records.

“We don’t think he’s going to make it,” says one source.

Police said some sort of domestic dispute started just before noon and Henry jumped into the back of a pickup truck as his fiance, Loleini Tonga, was driving away.

“The domestic situation continued between the operator and Mr. Henry,” the police said in a prepared statement. “At some point while she was driving, Mr. Henry came out of the back of the vehicle.”

Henry was found on a residential street about a half mile from the home when authorities were called to the scene after a medic report that a man was down.
