In a new video that hit the web on Monday afternoon, Chris Brown finally issued a public apology for his brutal beating of Rihanna earlier this year.
In the video clip, Brown, wearing a red long-sleeved shirt, spoke directly into the camera and apologized to his former flame as well as his fans.
“I’ve told Rihanna countless times and I’m telling you today, I’m truly, truly sorry that I wasn’t able to handle the situation both differently and better,” Brown said.
