Chris Brown did an interview on "Larry King Live" on Wednesday night. During the interview, Brown told King that his relationship with fellow pop singer Rihanna is similar to that of Romeo and Juliet...especially the part with Romeo beats the snot out of Juliet. Ok, maybe that never happened in Shakespeare's version.

Brown told King that, after the beating incident, it was the media that drove them apart. Funny, I thought it was the whole beating-Rihanna-to-a-pulp part.

In order to straighten the whole mess out, Chris Brown and Rihanna spent some quality time together at Diddy’s place in Miami.

"It was sort of like Romeo and Juliet story, like both sides not wanting us to kind of have contact so we just got away."

Brown said that during that time, he and Rihanna were able to spark their friendship once again.

"I'm pretty sure we can always be friends," he said, "and I don't know about our relationship, but I just know definitely that we ended as friends."

He insisted again and again that he still loved Rihanna, saying, "I've said countless times how sorry I am to Rihanna. I accepted full responsibility but it's just one of those things I wish I could have relived and just handled totally different."

Yeah, like maybe without your fists. Here is the video...
