In the video, Chloe snorts a powdery, white substance and lies in a bed with slit wrists and a gun pointed to her head. In the wake of the death of singer Amy Winehouse, people are fuming over the new video.
“It’s so funny, I don’t think I went that far,” says Chloe. “It was a metaphor for what I was going through, so I wasn’t like, ‘Yeah I want to slit my wrist or put some electrical devices in a bathtub.’ It was just about being in a lot of pain and dying inside in front of the one you love and them not noticing what you’re going through.”
How does mom feel about her latest project?
“My mom is very proud of me,” says Chloe. “She’s always been supportive of me, and I love her for that.”
