A police spokesperson in Colorado says that actor Charlie Sheen has posted bond and has been released from jail just hours after he was arrested in an alleged domestic violence case against his wife, Brooke Mueller.
Sheen reportedly posted bond in the amount of $8,500 on Friday after meeting with a county judge and being advised on the conditions of his release.

Sheen, 44, was arrested on Friday morning after police responded to a 911 call from a house in Aspen. He was then taken into custody for investigation of second-degree assault and menacing (both are considered felonies) along with criminal mischief, which is a misdemeanor.
The Two and a Half Men star's publicist, Stan Rosenfield, released a statement saying, "It would benefit everyone not to jump to any conclusion."
