Celine Dion is pregnant again, this time with an embryo that was frozen eight years ago, according to her fertility doctor.
The singer is expecting her second child with husband Rene Angelil. They already have an eight-year-old son, Rene-Charles.
Fertility doc Dr. Zev Rosenwaks revealed that he implanted an embryo into the 41-year-old Dion’s womb that has been frozen since the in-vitro fertilization that helped her conceive Rene-Charles.
Dr. Rosenwaks says, “She came back to have the embryos transferred back because she wanted to have another baby.”
When she found that the pregnancy test was positive, she was ecstatic.
“She was very happy. So was Rene. They are both very thankful.” the doctor added.
“She is feeling well. So far, so good. I look forward to hearing the fetal heartbeat. Rene and Celine are both looking forward to pregnancy that is a healthy one.”
