Heidi KlumIt’s official. Heidi Klum is the most dangerous female celebrity on the web, at least when it comes to malware attacks.

Web security company McAfee has just released its annual list of this year’s “Most Dangerous Celebrities” online, and Klum tops the list of female celebrities.

The list is based on the likelihood that spammers or scammers will use searches for each celebrity’s name to try and lure unsuspecting surfers to websites that serve up viruses, trojan, worms, and other forms of malware.

“While slightly safer than last year, searching for top celebrities continues to generate risky results,” said Paula Greve, director of Web security research at McAfee. “Consumers should be particularly aware of malicious content hiding in ‘tiny’ places like shortened URLs that can spread virally in social networking sites or through e-mails and text messages from friends.”

The former Victoria’s Secret model who now hosts Project Runway has unseated last year’s most dangerous celebrity, actress Cameron Diaz. According to McAfee, searching for Klum’s name yields a nearly 1-in-10 chance of hitting a link that leads to malware.

Diaz dropped to second place while CNN’s Piers Morgan, who also serves as a judge on America’s Got Talent came in third place.

Morgan is the only male to make it into the top 10 list besides Brad Pitt, who barely made it in a three-way tie for 10th with Emma Stone and Rachel McAdams.

Also in the top 10 this year were actresses Jessica Biel, Katherine Heigl, Mila Kunis, Anna Paquin, and Scarlett Johansson, along with another Victoria’s Secret model, Adriana Lima.

Sports stars and singers are somewhat safer, according to McAfee.  Tennis stars Maria Sharapova and Andy Roddick, who were at numbers 13 and 14 in 2010, fell to 44th and 56th this year.

This year, actor Charlie Sheen made headlines with his departure from Two and a Half Men and his one-man show. Despite all the fuss, Sheen would not be classified as a “dangerous” celebrity. Sheen ranked at number 59 on this year’s list, with less than 3 percent of searches yielding risky results. Lindsay Lohan, another tabloid favorite, ranked #18 on this year’s list, tied with Gwen Stefani and Reese Witherspoon.

For those wondering, Justin Bieber came in at number 49 and Lady Gaga came in at number 58.
