Check out these Unusually Stupid Celebrities.
Using Facebook or Twitter could result in your untimely demise. There, now you have been warned.
A study from a British biology journal has generated some hilarious headlines, as the folks over at Techdirt discovered: “How using Facebook could raise your risk of cancer,” for example, or “Online networking ‘harms health.’”
How, you may ask? The study itself, The Guardian points out, never actually says what the specific hazards are (if I didn't know better, I would say that they are just link-baiting). It simply implies that couples now more time apart thanks to working, commuting, or using electronic devices.
It also references a study from 2007 in which scientists found that people with higher levels of social interaction are more likely to have better physical health (I guess I'm in big trouble).
So unplug yourself. Go do other things, like check your e-mail on your iPhone.
