According to the police report, 24-year-old Michael Belton was tackled by two casino employees and arrested before any damage could be done.

Belton told police that he had been brought in on the scheme by Carlos Rodriguez, a man he met in Vegas after answering a Craigslist ad about a job repossessing automobiles.

Rodriguez arranged for Belton to rob the Bellagio with a third person, identified only as “Carlos.”

After stealing the casino chips, Belton and “Carlos” were then supposed to pass them off to Rodriguez at a hotel room.  Being somewhat of a “high roller,” he would then cash them in.

Belton and “Carlos” allegedly entered the Bellagio at about 10:45 p.m. Saturday night and made their way to a blackjack table, where Belton grabbed 23 $5,000 chips and “Carlos” sprayed a pepper-spray like chemical on a dealer and a patron.

Belton was grabbed by two floor supervisors, who wrestled him to the ground until he said, “I give up,” according to the official police report.

When questioned, Belton claimed to have participated in the scheme because he was unemployed and his grandparents were ill.

Michael Belton is currently being held at the Clark County Detention Center on $60,000 bail. He’s been charged with robbery, conspiracy to commit robbery, and burglary.

Adam Mayes, the man who is believed to have killed missing Tennessee mom Jo Ann Bain her oldest daughter, and who kidnapped her other two daughters, may believe he’s the father of the two youngest girls.

“He believes they are his children,” said Mayes’ mother-in-law Josie Tate.

In a tearful plea to her son-in-law, Tate pleaded on TV for him to return home Alexandria Bain, 12, and Kyliyah Bain, 8, and then turn himself in to authorities.

“You’ve had a chance to live life. They haven’t,” she said. “Give them that chance.”

At this hour, authorities are still searching for the two Tennessee girls and Mayes.

He and his wife, Teresa Mayes, have each been charged with two counts of first-degree murder and two counts of especially aggravated kidnapping.

In a police interview, Teresa said her husband planned to take Alexandria and Kyliyah from their home near Memphis.

The Mayes family and the Bain family are connected through Adam Mayes’ sister Pamela, who used to be married to Jo Ann’s husband, Gary Bain.

“We wish someone would call and help us,” FBI spokesman Joel Siskovic said this afternoon. “At this point, this guy doesn’t want to be found, and we’re out there trying to find him.”

Yesterday, the FBI put Adam Mayes on its infamous 10 Most Wanted list and added $100,000 to the reward offered for any kind of break in the case.

“There has been a lot of information that has come to light, and we want to make sure these girls are not brought to further risk. All of these details are coming in and going into the investigative picture,” Siskovic said.

The search is currently focused on Guntown, Mississippi, where the bodies of the mother and daughter were found over the weekend.

“We are moving forward with our investigation to hunt down Adam Mayes and rescue those two little girls,” said Aaron Ford, the special agent in charge of the FBI’s Memphis office.

He urged Mayes to leave the girls in a safe location “and then peacefully and safely turn yourself in.”

A medical examiner in Tennessee has identified two bodies as those of Jo Ann Bain and her oldest daughter, Adrienne, 14, who were kidnapped from their home in Whiteville on April 27.

Two other daughters – Alexandria Bain, 12, and Kyliyah Bain, 8 – are believed to be with family friend Adam Mayes, whom police believe is the kidnapper.

The bodies were found Saturday behind Mayes’ home near Guntown, Mississippi.

Kidnapping warrants have been issued for Mayes, 35, and the Mississippi Department of Public Safety believes “the children may be in extreme danger.”

Before they vanished, the Bains family had been preparing to move to Arizona.

Mayes was a friend of Bain’s husband, Gary, and had been at their house the night before they disappeared, police said.

Mayes had stayed over at the Bains’ residence to help the family pack and load up a U-Haul for the big move.

Gary Bain awoke that night to find his wife, daughters, and Mayes gone. He couldn’t reach his wife on her cell phone and reported them all as missing when the girls didn’t get off the bus after school.

Authorities say Mayes is likely to be armed and extremely dangerous.

FBI spokesman Joel Siskovic said authorities had talked with Mayes early on in the investigation, but he fled when they attempted to contact him again.

Mayes could be in Mississippi, but he also has ties to Arizona, Texas, North Carolina, South Carolina, and Florida, according to authorities.

Alexandria Bain has brown hair and hazel eyes and is 5 feet tall and 105 pounds. Kyliyah Bain has blond hair and brown eyes and is 4 feet tall and 57 pounds (click to enlarge the photo above).

Mayes has brown hair, blue eyes, stands 6 feet 3 inches tall, and weighs 175 pounds.

A reward of up to $50,000 for any information leading to the apprehension of Mayes and location of the victims is now being offered.

The U.S. and its allies called the attempted launch a potential pretext for developing an intercontinental ballistic missile (ICBM) that might one day carry a nuclear warhead.

There was just one major problem, however.

North Korea failed. Badly.

In what has to be considered a major embarrassment to the North and its young new leader, the rocket disintegrated moments after the launching, and American and Japanese officials said its remnants fell harmlessly into the sea.

Officials from Japan, South Korea, and the U.S. condemned the attempted launch as a belligerent act that endangered regional stability, despite the fact that it failed miserably.

American officials said food aid that it had planned to send to North Korea to help feed its hungry population would be suspended.

Brilliant move, North Korea.

“North Korea is only further isolating itself by engaging in provocative acts, and is wasting its money on weapons and propaganda displays while the North Korean people go hungry,” said White House press secretary, Jay Carney. The United States, Carney said, “remains vigilant in the face of North Korean provocations and is fully committed to the security of our allies in the region.”

A senior White House official said that the failure of the rocket would likely hinder North Korea’s effort to sell weapons to other countries. It also validated the effectiveness of the sanctions in place on North Korea, as those measures have deprived the country of access to metals and other technical components necessary for a viable missile program.

Hours after the massive failure, there was still no word from North Korea.

“Obviously, the rocket launch is pretty embarrassing for Kim Jung-un and North Korea,” said Tate Nurkin, a director at Jane’s Strategic Advisory Service, in an e-mailed reaction. “North Korea is all about ceremony and stature and grand, symbolic gestures.”

The rocket, called the Unha-3, blasted off from the Soehae launching site near North Korea’s western border with China, about 7:40 a.m., the South Korean Defense Ministry said.
