Legendary singer Whitney Houston has died. She was 48 years old.

Her publicist Kristen Foster said tonight that the singer had died. The cause of death is now yet known.

According to various sources, Houston died at the Beverly Hilton hotel. A police crime lab vehicle was spotted outside the hotel just a few moments ago.

The singer was pronounced dead at 3:55 p.m. PST / 6:55 p.m. EST, despite firefighters efforts to resuscitate her.

Houston had one of the defining soul/pop voices of the 1980s and 1990s. She was also a star of the screen, appearing in such movies as “The Bodyguard” and “Waiting to Exhale”.

Toward the end of her career, Houston confessed to abusing cocaine, prescription drugs, and marijuana, and her once angelic singing voice became raspy and hoarse, unable to hit high notes while singing live on tour.

“The biggest devil is me. I’m either my best friend or my worst enemy,” Houston told Diane Sawyer back in 2002.

The first photos of Jay-Z and Beyonce’s baby have hit the web, revealing a beaming first-time mommy holding her precious little angel.

The little 1-month-old baby girl is sleeping peacefully in the photos as Beyonce looks on with a smile and the proud new papa holds his little lady.

Little Blue Ivy Carter is already breaking records, having become the youngest person ever to appear on a Billboard chart after her newborn cries were featured on Jay-Z’s track, “Glory”.

This rumor was based on an old 1860s photo of chap who just so happens to look an awful lot like Cage.

On Thursday night, the actor appeared sat down with David Letterman to discuss the photo that caused all the commotion.

According to Cage, he simply cannot be a vampire for a several reasons. First, you can’t take a picture of a vampire so how could he be photographed or show up in movies? Second, he doesn’t drink blood, and third, he can see himself in the mirror.

Cage did not offer up an explanation, though, for the creepy photo.

Jack Mord, who attempted to sell the “vampire” photo on EBay for $1 million, said:

“Personally, I believe it’s him and that he is some sort of walking undead vampire, etc, who quickens/reinvents himself once every 75 years or so. 150 years from now, he might be a politician, the leader of a cult or a talk show host… My theory is that he allows himself to age to a certain point, maybe 70, 80 or so, then the actor ‘Nicolas Cage’ will ‘die’…but in reality, the undead vampire ‘Nicolas Cage’ will have rejuvenated himself and appeared in some other part of the world, young again, and ready to start all over.”

Hmm…an interesting theory.

In a new interview with The Hollywood Reporter, “Star Wars” creator George Lucas sounds off on “Indiana Jones 5“, SOPA, and the eternal question of who shot first.

In the original version of the film, Han Solo clearly shoots Greedo first, reinforcing his character’s image of an intergalactic bad-ass mofo.  In later edits of the movie, it’s made to look as though Greedo shoots first and misses, thus softening Han’s character up a bit, as he’s now fired his shot in self-defense…a change that has always enraged die-hard “Star Wars” fans.

Lucas tells THR:

“The controversy over who shot first, Greedo or Han Solo, in Episode IV, what I did was try to clean up the confusion, but obviously it upset people because they wanted Solo [who seemed to be the one who shot first in the original] to be a cold-blooded killer, but he actually isn’t. It had been done in all close-ups and it was confusing about who did what to whom. I put a little wider shot in there that made it clear that Greedo is the one who shot first, but everyone wanted to think that Han shot first, because they wanted to think that he actually just gunned him down.”

So really, folks, you were just confused about who shot first all this time.

Lucas also explains why he replaced puppet Yoda with CGI Yoda in “Star Wars Episode I: The Phantom Menace“…

“It’s the same thing with Yoda. We tried to do Yoda in CGI in Episode I, but we just couldn’t get it done in time. We couldn’t get the technology to work, so we had to use the puppet, but the puppet really wasn’t as good as the CGI. So when we did the reissue, we had to put the CGI back in, which was what it was meant to be.”

George Lucas has no qualms “altering” his movies, as he sees the changes he makes along the way as “improvements.”

“Star Wars, there’s basically one version – it just keeps getting improved a little bit as we move forward…All art is technology and it improves every year. Whether it’s on the stage or in music or in painting, there are technological answers that happen, and because movies are so technological, the advances become more obvious.”

So there you have it. Does that make you feel any better?

As for me, I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again…George, please die now and stop f–king up our movies.

Well, Tommy Jordan is one dad who’s not going to take it any more.

You see, Tommy’s 15-year-old daughter posted a smart-mouthed, profanity-laced rant on Facebook to her “lazy” parents.  She didn’t think her dad would ever see it.

Well, he did.

He decided to post this video response to her Facebook wall.  After expressing his severe disappointment in his daughter and reminding her of how easy she’s got it, he takes out his pistol and SHOOTS her laptop – several times.

With so many abusive parents beating their kids these days, it’s nice to see a sensible dad who handles things the right way.

Finally, Jordan tells his daughter that whenever she’s no longer grounded, in “whatever year that may be,” she can go buy herself her own new laptop.

This video is going mega-viral, with over a million views since Wednesday.

In the description, Tommy says:

“My daughter thought it would be funny/rebellious/cool to post on her Facebook wall just how upset she was and how unfair her life here is; how we work her too hard with chores, never pay her for chores, and just in general make her life difficult.

She chose to share this with the entire world on Facebook and block her parent’s from seeing it. Well, umm… she failed. As of the end of this video, she won’t have to worry anymore about posting inappropriate things on Facebook…

Maybe a few kids can take something away from this… If you’re so disrespectful to your parents and yourself as to post this kind of thing on Facebook, you’re deserving of some tough love. Today, my daughter is getting a dose of tough love.”

He’s going to drop the “Ochocinco” surname and go back to just being Chad Johnson.

You see, Ochocinco intends on marrying his Basketball Wives girlfriend Evelyn Lozada, and it seems she may not be to keen on becoming Evelyn Ochocinco.

The wide receiver has therefore told his friends he’ll be changing his name back to Johnson to avoid any issues.

He changed his name to Chad Ochocinco in 2008 playing for the Cincinnati Bengals, much to the chagrin of the NFL.

It was his way of poking a little fun at the league while equally branding himself as star wide receiver that could simply be known by his jersey number in Spanish.

“I just became so convicted of honoring the Lord and my body and wanting to be a role model for other women out there who look up to me,” Bisutti, 21, said today on Good Morning America.

The California native beat out 10,000 other hopefuls in 2009 to win the Victoria’s Secret Model Search. She was 19 and had just recently gotten married at the time.

Now she’s giving it all up for her beliefs.

“I was growing in my relationship with the Lord and my faith. I’m a strong believing Christian,” Bisutti said of her thought process as she made her decision.

“It was more of just a heart issue for me,” she said.

Bisutti’s decision to leave Victoria’s Secret was also influenced by her 8-year-old cousin.

“I was doing my makeup in the mirror one day and she was watching me,” Bisutti said. “She looked at me and was like, ‘You know, I think I want to stop eating so I can look like you.’”

“It just broke my heart because she looks up to me and I didn’t want to be that type of person that she thought she had to do that to be beautiful,” she said. “Thousands of girls that think that being beautiful is an outer issue and really it’s a heart issue.”

On December 1, just one day after the nationally televised Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show, in which Bisutti did not appear, aired on TV, she tweeted, “For all of you that were looking for me in the Victorias Secret runway show this year, I wasn’t in it. I have decided not to model lingerie Because I personally feel that I am not honoring God or my husband by doing it. My marriage is very important & with divorce rates rising I want to do everything I can to protect my marriage and be respectful to my husband. God graciously gave me this marriage and this life and my desire is to live a Godly faithful life, I don’t however judge others for what they do. Everyone is convicted on different levels.”

Bisutti isn’t giving up her modeling career altogether, though.

“I’m definitely going to pursue modeling,” she said. “I just want to be more wholesome about it and the jobs that I am going to choose are always going to be honoring the Lord.”

“Legacy” moves away from Matt Damon’s Jason Bourne character, instead focusing on Jeremy Renner’s Aaron Cross.

Tony Gilroy wrote and directed “The Bourne Legacy” and even the original Jason Bourne hopes the new film succeeds.

“I think if ['Bourne Legacy'] doesn’t work, we can just ignore it and pretend it didn’t happen, and that’d be fine,” Damon said two months ago. “But I expect that it will work and only help us if we did another one, which I’d love to do.”

“The Bourne Legacy” also stars Edward Norton, Joan Allen, David Straithairn, and Albert Finney.

Look for it in theaters on August 3, 2012.

It’s often an amazing transformation. How do they DO that? Is the product that’s being advertised really responsible for this magnificent metamorphosis?

One blogger has created a viral video to “expose” the mystery behind those before and after photos. Furious Pete set out to dispel the illusion, and he does it all in less than five hours. He does the “after” shot first, hitting the gym and pumping up his biceps, triceps, and pecs to make sure he is “as vascular as humanly possible.”

He also takes a trip to the tanning bed to get “as tanned up as possible” to “show off that vascularity.”

He then advises going home and setting up some “really good lighting in your basement.” Then he sprays himself with cooking spray and explains that just before you take the photo, you should do a few more bicep curls to add a “toned look.”

To prove that all this is taking place in less than five hours, Furious Pete shows his laptop computer screen to verify the date and time of the video, “January 29, 2012, 6:22 p.m.”

Then, he prepares for the “before” photo by eating canned Beefaroni, soda, chips, and chocolate milk. When he is nice and bloated, he shows his computer screen again, this time showing that it’s still the same date, but it is now 10:25 p.m.

In the end, Furious Pete makes his final point, saying that he just wanted to “show that anything is possible in the world nowadays” and “don’t believe everything you see with your eyes.”

So far, the video has been viewed more the 3 million times, having been featured on both Yahoo News and the front page of Reddit!
